Below is a picture of me and my horse Chilly.
I have signed us up to a 122km horse ride next year along the rail trail.
I could give myself a hundred reasons not to do it.
- We need to train.
- I don't know the other people.
- Traffic, animals, bikes on the trail etc. etc etc.
I could keep adding lots more blockers.
I think it is definitely going to be hard.
But instead I am going to give myself one reason to do it.
I have always wanted to go on a long ride.
It is going to be amazing.
The thing for me to work on over the next 6 months is my training and also my mindset.
My own confidence.
My confidence to try and do hard things.
Plus having a plan to get me there.
What are the actions or things that I put in place over the next 6 months that are going to give me the confidence that I can do this.
Give it a go so to speak.
